Sales Manager
Your tasks
Acquisition and Prospecting:
- Tap into sales potential through presence at relevant Reseller events (trade fairs, sales or customer events).
- Research and pre-qualify prospective channel partners.
- Assist with approaching and acquiring new Resellers.
Active Selling:
- Act as focal point of contact to Channel Partners.
- Proactively sell products and solutions to Channel Partners.
- Prepare detailed meeting preparations, including usage of tools (e.g. need and solution assessment).
- Present SE USPs and benefits to Channel Partners.
- Plan sales in line with (corporate) strategy.
- Conduct all negotiation activities with resellers (e.g. yearly negotiations and temporary discounts) as well as Integrators.
Order Management:
- Track and monitor order realization process (e.g. track order in system) supported by Technical Application Engineering/Internal Sales Support.
Customer Service:
- Help Resellers and Integrators by referring them to someone who is able to provide necessary technical advice.
- Bring in Technical Application Engineer or other support functions as needed.
- Provide customer updates on new or discontinued projects.
Administration:
- Document visitation activities, leads, opportunities, and projects in IT System (CRM) including sales call summaries, sales progress, new account updates, sales pipeline information as well as feedback on trends, market needs, competitive intelligence, upcoming opportunities, quality issues on a daily/weekly basis.
- Identify and analyze specific dealer and product trends within the assigned territory through use of Polaris and BI.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the Audio-Visual (AV), Information Technology (IT), or technology industries.
- Experience or knowledge of audio electronics or high-tech products.
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed, including overnights stays when required.
