Music Teacher(Piano)

About the role

The Music Works, is music education provider in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Piano Teacher to join our team. As a full-time Piano Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop their musical talents and foster a lifelong appreciation for the art of music.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging and interactive music lessons, including private one-on-one lessons and group classes
• Developing customised lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of each student
• Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to help them achieve their musical goals
• Collaborating with the wider team to organise and participate in musical performances, recitals, and other events
• Maintaining a safe and well-equipped learning environment for students
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the music education programme

What we're looking for

• A minimum of Grade 8 music certification or equivalent in music or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages and skill levels
• Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument, with the ability to teach a variety of instruments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
• Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a diverse student roster
• Passion for music education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
• Able to work during weekend
