Job description

We are currently recruiting dedicated sales assistants to join our expanding retail team. Among the responsibilities of a sales promoter are attracting customers and generating profits, assisting with product releases and events, improving product knowledge, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns. In a fast-paced environment, you should be able to multitask and provide excellent customer service. To be a great sales promoter, you must be extremely passionate about the products and can inspire others. Outstanding sales promoters can connect with the audience on a personal level and tailor their presentations to multiple demographics.

  • West Region

Job Scope / Responsibilities:

  • Understanding customers' requirements and promoting suitable products accordingly.
  • Willingness to learn and understand the consumer electronics technical specifications.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities.
  • Constantly expand product knowledge and deliver it in engaging ways to customers.
  • Follow up with customers and provide guidance on product selection.
  • Set up attractive product displays and promotional booths.
  • Provide assistance to customers for purchase via POS or E-commerce platforms.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Engage in meaningful interactions and develop positive customer relationships.
  • Provide feedback for improvement to the retail and management team.
  • Meet daily targets and submit sales reports and EOD reports accurately.
  • Ad-hoc tasks given by Store Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable with working 5.5 days a week (i.e., shift work, public holidays, and weekends).
  • Willing to travel when deployed.
  • Sales-driven individual.
  • Well-groomed, pleasant, and cheerful personality.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate well.
  • A proactive and highly motivated team player.
  • Past experience in retail sales or sales will be advantageous.
  • Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in any field.
