Job DescriptionResponsibilities:- Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to meet shiftly packouts, weekly and quarterly production and shipment targets.
- Ensure production schedules align with customer delivery requirements and internal targets.
- Monitor and optimize production workflows, minimizing downtime and improving efficiency to meet shipment goals.
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and customer specifications before shipment.
- Track and report progress toward meeting shipment targets on a regular basis, adjusting production plans as necessary.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor production staff to ensure high performance, fostering a culture of Accountability and Enthusiasm.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and training opportunities.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Encourage open communication, teamwork, and Collaboration among team members to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrate Integrity and Respect when interacting with the team, building a supportive and positive working environment.
- Ensure proper allocation and utilization of materials, machinery, and manpower to meet shipment deadlines.
- Work with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available for production without excess stock, preventing waste.
- Prepare and present regular production and shipment reports, including performance metrics, to upper management.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are compliant with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and environmental policies.
- Handle any regulatory audits related to production processes and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes and work practices to improve output and meet shipment goals.
- Demonstrate a commitment and a willingness to adapt and grow in a continuously evolving manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a manufacturing environment, with at least 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, manufacturing systems, and Lean/6 Sigma principles.
- Ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in setting and achieving production and shipment targets.
