Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Responsible on communication/approach in terms of design, selection, and specification of metal floor decking products for construction projects
• Requires a deep understanding of the product - CHY Truss Deck, its system & applications, and compliance with local building codes and standards.
• The Product Specifier will need to work closely with clients (consultants, engineers, architects, contractors) to provide accurate product specifications.
• Able to prepare comprehensive product specifications, including details about materials, dimensions, load capacities, finishes, and installation guidelines.
• Proficient in technical drawing reading, CAD software, and project management tools.
• Assist the sales team in preparing technical presentations and proposals for clients, having existing network with fellow structure consultants in the market would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience in construction or a technical role related to floor decking, structural design, or construction materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field.
