Job Title: AWS Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Duration: 6 to 12 months contract w/ possible extension
Note: 1-2 days per week Work from Home once up and running

Description:
We are looking for an infrastructure engineer with experience building out products/infrastructure in AWS. Ideally Informatica, but we are open to other experience as well. AWS Infrastructure is key for this position.

What does this role entail?

1. The team is focused on building newly purchased products onto our AWS infrastructure.
2. Maintain ongoing knowledge of software and hardware environments (including future releases).
3. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, take appropriate corrective action, interact with IT staff and vendors in performing complex testing, support, and troubleshooting functions. Communicate and document findings.
4. Perform software installation and upgrades through infrastructure as code.
5. Monitor system performance and capacity; report changes in usage.
6. Participate in hardware/software installation, maintenance, support, and documentation of hardware/software logs and operating procedures, all through infrastructure as code.
7. Manage security administration and deployments through infrastructure as code.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Experience as an AWS Systems Administrator for BI/Analytics systems.
2. Experience in supporting Informatica system administration.
3. Experience building infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation Templates.
4. Experience in scripting.
5. Basic experience in OS Admin skills (Unix, Windows, Linux).
6. Strong oral and written communication skills.
7. Solid time management and organizational skills, and detail-oriented.
8. Must work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.
9. Positive, proactive team player.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience in Agile engineering methodology.
