Job Title: Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative
Location: East London & Essex

Job Type: Temporary (2-3 moths)
Hourly Rate: 22.00ph - 24.00ph (Umbrella Rate)
Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative to join a property and facilities group based in the East London region. You will be responsible for the safe removal of non-licensed asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from residential properties, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely remove non-licensed ACMs such as ceiling tiles and floor tiles.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and use PPE at all times.
- Prepare work areas and clean up post-removal.
- Complete required documentation and report progress.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors for smooth project execution.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in asbestos removal (non-licensed) preferred.
- Asbestos Awareness Certification (required).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations (Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012).
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
