About the Role

As our Procurement & Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Solution Lead you will drive SAP S/4HANA-based sourcing and procurement transformation for our enterprise clients. This strategic role sits within our SAP Pre-sales & Solutions team and will lead the definition, design, and deployment of best-in-class procurement solutions – blending technical depth, process insight, and consultative leadership.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the solution design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and P2P processes, including SAP MM, SRM replacement, Fiori apps, and integration with Ariba or other sourcing tools.
2. Own the P2P process architecture from purchase requisition to invoice receipt, covering direct and indirect procurement.
3. Conduct client workshops with procurement heads, buyers, and supply chain stakeholders to assess pain points and design streamlined S/4HANA-enabled procurement models.
4. Define and guide integration across MM, FI (AP), Inventory Management, WM/EWM, and vendor collaboration platforms.
5. Contribute to pre-sales activities: solutioning, RFPs/RFIs, effort estimations, client demos, and industry-aligned proposal development.
6. Lead cross-functional teams across onshore/offshore model to ensure delivery excellence, test readiness, and cutover success.
7. Leverage and extend DXC’s accelerators, templates, and best practices for S/4HANA-driven procurement transformation.
8. Drive adoption of innovations like Fiori-based purchasing apps, Central Procurement Hub, and embedded analytics/KPIs.

Experience required:

1. Extensive experience with deep functional knowledge in SAP MM, Inventory Management, and P2P lifecycle.
2. At least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or conversion), including ownership of Procurement/P2P design.
3. Hands-on expertise in Direct and Indirect procurement, vendor master management, release strategies, and invoice processing.
4. Prior experience integrating SAP with SAP Ariba, Coupa, or SRM replacements is highly desirable.
5. Proven ability to lead client engagements from discovery through go-live, in a consulting/SI delivery model.

Technical & Functional Skills:

1. Hands on experience including In-depth configuration knowledge SAP MM, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders, Service Entry Sheets, Goods Receipts, and Invoice Verification.
2. Understanding of integration with FI (Accounts Payable), Inventory Management, and Logistics Execution.
3. Experience with Fiori Procurement apps, Central Procurement, and Self-Service Procurement scenarios.
4. Familiarity with E-invoicing, tax compliance, and vendor onboarding workflows is a plus.
5. Awareness of procurement trends including sustainable sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and supply risk monitoring.

Stakeholder & Soft Skills

1. Able to engage confidently with CPOs, Heads of Procurement, and Finance leadership to guide transformation discussions.
2. Skilled at translating procurement complexity into simplified, scalable SAP solutions.
3. Experienced in leading teams, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Excellent communication, process mapping, and client-facing presentation skills.

Methodologies & Tools

1. Proven experience with SAP Activate and agile delivery models.
2. Use of Signavio, Solution Manager, JIRA/Confluence, and other project collaboration tools.
3. Familiarity with DevOps pipelines for functional delivery in SAP S/4HANA programs.

Certifications & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or IT.
2. SAP Certification in S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or SAP Certified Application Associate – Procurement.
3. Additional credentials in Lean Procurement, CIPS, or supply chain design frameworks are a plus.
