Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Toyota, Reading
Hours: 08:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Salary: £30,000 per annum
On-Target Earnings (OTE): £40,000+ (uncapped potential)
About the Role
As a Key Account Executive, you will be an integral part of the Toyota / Lexus Jemca Group Fleet Team, working closely with key customers, leasing companies, and brokers. Your role will focus on strengthening relationships, driving sales, and ensuring long-term profitability in the dynamic automotive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, leasing companies, and brokers, delivering exceptional service in quotations, vehicle availability, product information, and deliveries.
- Prepare vehicle quotations across multiple financing options (Contract Hire, Finance Lease, PCP, HP, etc.), with a requirement to complete Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) training.
- Collaborate with Corporate Sales Teams to forecast sales and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Toyota and Lexus models, including Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), to provide expert guidance and customer support.
- Adhere to Jemca's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Fleet to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Logistics, Fleet Coordinators, and Administrators, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in the automotive industry would be preferable.
- Previous account management experience is essential.
- Driving licence is required.
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships while delivering outstanding customer service.
- A proactive, target-driven mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
