Job description

Job Title: Account Manager
Location: Toyota, Reading
Hours: 08:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday
Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
Salary: £30,000 per annum
On-Target Earnings (OTE): £40,000+ (uncapped potential)

About the Role

As a Key Account Executive, you will be an integral part of the Toyota / Lexus Jemca Group Fleet Team, working closely with key customers, leasing companies, and brokers. Your role will focus on strengthening relationships, driving sales, and ensuring long-term profitability in the dynamic automotive market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, leasing companies, and brokers, delivering exceptional service in quotations, vehicle availability, product information, and deliveries.
  2. Prepare vehicle quotations across multiple financing options (Contract Hire, Finance Lease, PCP, HP, etc.), with a requirement to complete Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) training.
  3. Collaborate with Corporate Sales Teams to forecast sales and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Toyota and Lexus models, including Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), to provide expert guidance and customer support.
  5. Adhere to Jemca's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Fleet to maintain consistency and compliance.
  6. Work closely with internal teams, including Logistics, Fleet Coordinators, and Administrators, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Skills & Experience Required
  1. Previous experience in the automotive industry would be preferable.
  2. Previous account management experience is essential.
  3. Driving licence is required.
  4. Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships while delivering outstanding customer service.
  5. A proactive, target-driven mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve business goals.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  7. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
