Job Title: Material Planner
Location: Havant
Contract Type: Temporary (6 months, with potential extension)
Starting: May 2025
Hourly Rate: Up to £19.50 per hour
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Material Planner to join our team starting in May 2025. This six-month plus temporary role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in supply chain and production planning while managing material requirements efficiently.
- Develop and maintain material plans to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to align material needs with production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage material replenishment processes.
- Analyze material usage and forecast future material requirements.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Material Planner or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
