A leading renewable energy company is offering a 2-year apprenticeship in Health, Safety and Environment to develop capabilities in HSE management. The apprentice will engage in structured on-the-job learning and receive mentorship while supporting daily HSE activities on offshore wind projects. The role requires a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, and a passion for health and safety. A starting salary of £25,000 is offered, along with opportunities for career development and training.
RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. To start as soon as possible, full time, fixed term. Functional area: Health, Safety & Environment. RWE Offshore Wind is offering a 2-year apprenticeship in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) within offshore wind projects. This apprenticeship develops practical project HSE capability by embedding the apprentice within an active offshore wind project environment.
The apprenticeship follows the UK model with approximately 20% off-the-job learning delivered by an accredited training provider and 80% structured on-the-job learning within RWE project teams. Upon completion, the apprentice will achieve a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Technician qualification and meet the criteria for IOSH Technical Membership (TechIOSH).
To support Project HSE activities across the project lifecycle while developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a future role as a Project HSE Advisor within offshore wind construction projects.
