At the end of 2025 we will move our UK office to a vibrant new Reading town centre location, just minutes from Reading train station.

Why Join Us?

We offer a competitive salary, bonus, flexible working, and a wide range of benefits—from critical illness cover and discounted gym memberships to enhanced parental leave and electric car schemes. Our commitment to wellbeing and career growth makes us a Top Employer for 14 years running.

The Integrated Demand & Event Manager plays a pivotal role in connecting commercial initiatives, demand sensing, and operational planning to deliver a seamless and responsive supply chain. This role ensures that daily and event-driven demand signals are accurately reflected in forecasts, enabling the business to optimize service, minimize waste, and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Daily Direction Setting (DSS) and Demand Governance

  • Coordinate and lead the daily DSS forums, ensuring visibility of key demand signals, service risks, and forecast changes.
  • Translate insights from DSS discussions into clear actions that align demand, supply, and commercial priorities.
  • Support short-term forecast management, balancing agility and accuracy in collaboration with the Customer Collaboration and Supply Planning teams.

Demand Sensing Operations & Roadmap

  • Own the execution and continuous improvement of Demand Sensing processes and tools, ensuring daily forecasts reflect the most up-to-date market intelligence, customer order patterns, and operational realities.
  • Partner with the Forecast & Innovation Lead to evolve the Demand Sensing roadmap, embedding automation, analytics, and best practices across categories.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast value add (FVA), driving corrective actions and sharing insights to improve performance.

End-to-End Event & Seasonal Planning

  • Lead the integrated planning of promotional and seasonal events, ensuring demand, supply, and commercial teams are aligned on volumes, timing, and executional priorities.
  • Facilitate demand review workshops to assess event performance and identify opportunities for future improvement.
  • Act as the key link between marketing activations, customer events, and supply chain readiness.

New Product Development (NPD) Setup & Maintenance

  • Manage the end-to-end setup and maintenance of new products within planning systems, ensuring master data accuracy, forecast readiness, and seamless integration into commercial and operational plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely readiness for launch and post-launch performance tracking.

Prolink System & Data Integrity

  • Serve as the UK Prolink Key User, driving system enhancements, maintaining master data quality, and promoting user adoption.
  • Partner with IT and the global Prolink community to influence future developments and ensure data governance standards are upheld.

Business Insight & Collaboration

  • Provide actionable insights on demand trends, promotional lift, and forecast performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the Forecast & Innovation Lead in tracking national forecast performance versus actuals and driving continuous improvement in Lag 3 and live forecasts.
  • Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to enable data‑led decisions that drive profitable growth.
Qualifications

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain within FMCG or consumer goods.

  • Proven ability to manage integrated demand planning processes, including promotions, events, and NPD launches.

  • Hands‑on experience with forecasting and planning systems such as Prolink, APO, JDA, or similar.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and generate actionable insights.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency and working knowledge of SAP.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Commercial, Supply, and Finance.

  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or Six Sigma.

  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain or Business Analytics).

  • Experience working within Integrated Business Planning (IBP) frameworks or platforms such as o9.

  • Experience with Prolink data quality and master data compliance improvement initiatives.
