Launched in London in 2007, the business has blossomed to include our famed magazine, daily newsletters, a round-the-clock radio station and international events, as well as a thriving retail arm and cafés. The Monocle Café is an intimate and bustling space located on Marylebone’s Chiltern Street. Offering artisanal coffee and tasty treats, alongside a selection of our famed magazines and retail offerings, it’s a welcoming space, showcasing our passion for hospitality.

We’re currently looking for an experienced barista to join our small team. This is a great role if you are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience and are a genuine team player.

1. Developing a thorough understanding of our menu items and products
2. Providing exceptional customer service and effectively handling any customer feedback
3. Ensuring that cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, as well as correct maintenance of café equipment
4. Accurately processing customer orders and payments
5. Supporting with planning and delivering café events

Our café is open from 07.00 to 19.00 seven days a week. We offer a range of great benefits, including:
