For our ambitious, fast growing team in Dublin, we are looking for a performance-oriented and brand-experienced Head of Marketing. You will be leading the marketing activities and market growth for HelloFresh Ireland.
This role is a 12 months contract only.
Reporting into the Ireland Chief Executive Officer, you will be leading a small marketing team to manage the delivery of all marketing efforts to drive growth of the HelloFresh business in Ireland. You will be working closely with the dedicated Ireland team and alongside the rest of the global HelloFresh organisation for the more operational, tech and business support functions.
Leading a team of four, you will work closely with a Brand & MarComm Manager, Offline Growth Manager, Retention & Analytics Manager, and Junior Online Growth & Analytics Manager to develop and manage the implementation of performance-driven yearly marketing plans to drive the growth of the business, ensuring you have an efficient marketing channel-mix, a clearly defined value proposition, and a compelling brand to support customer acquisition and retention, both online and offline.

What you’ll do
- You will lead and motivate the Ireland marketing team to drive growth and brand impact in the market.
- Take on a leadership role within the Ireland office (along with the Product and Operations leads) to steer the culture of the office and provide support and advice to the broader Ireland team, as required.
- Partner with local Product and Operations teams to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and ensure marketing is leveraging the product roadmap to drive growth and retention.
- Execute on the annual marketing plan together with the Global teams, ensuring channel performances remain efficient, reviewing the plan to pivot and adapt as required, while maintaining alignment to the three year marketing strategy.
- Lead the marketing budgeting cycles, working closely with the Local/Global marketing channel owners, providing guidance and collecting their input, ensuring that the final budget outcome maximises potential marketing value and aligns with overall business plan expectation.
- Support the IE marketing team where necessary to open roadblocks and fight for prioritisation in order to maximise market growth.
- Ensure that all marketing assets drive a consistent brand experience across the marketing mix, bridging the Growth Teams with Brand teams.
- Work closely with channel owners and Marketing Analytics to monitor the number of activations and reactivations expected on an ongoing basis as part of a wider forecasting process that estimates the volume of boxes sold every week.
- Monitor and report overall marketing performance against the business plan, understanding and sharing the root causes of either underperformance or overperformance, and putting in place actions on the back of budget deviations, when needed.
- Analyze the brand function’s KRs development and make sure they reach their growth goals, as a data-driven marketer.
- Liaise with Local/Global business stakeholders to support them on initiatives with marketing impact, understanding their goals, scoping marketing opportunities and workload, manage deliverables and timings, together with the Local/Global teams.
- Develop innovative marketing approaches, ensuring a “test and learn” approach is in place whenever possible, supporting the development of test-hypotheses, following-up on test implementation and its results.

What you’ll bring
- Performance-driven and goal-oriented professional with extensive mixed marketing experience in online and offline performance, CRM, Referral, ATL, and a strong Brand management understanding.
- Confident and structured communicator to the wider business, who’s able to showcase the value and impact of Marketing, within a data-driven and tech-focused culture.
- Someone who understands how to leverage customer insight as a springboard of marketing initiatives and actions to unlock growth.
- Experienced in developing local marketing within a Global framework.
- Preferably with experience in leading a small team.
- Structured and methodical in your approach to work.

- Fluent in English and knowledge of the Irish culture.
