• Shopify Apps (Plugins) – Extensions that expand the system with new features. We build both our own Shopify Apps and plugins for other software providers and merchants.
• Headless E-Commerce Architecture – Robust, scalable APIs that power modern e-commerce experiences for shops with sophisticated backend requirements.
• Custom Backend Solutions – Tailored backend solutions for complex e-commerce requirements, integrating third‑party services and ensuring high performance and security.

• Architektur und Entwicklung anspruchsvoller Backend‑Lösungen für unsere Shopify‑Projekte.
• Design, Implementierung und Wartung von REST‑ und GraphQL‑APIs.
• Entwicklung maßgeschneiderter Shopify‑Apps mit Ruby on Rails oder Typescript / Node.js.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Frontend‑Entwicklern, UI/UX‑Designern und Kunden zur Umsetzung komplexer Anforderungen.
• Integration von Drittanbieterdiensten (Payment‑Gateways, Suchmaschinen, CRM, PIM, ERP‑Systeme).

• Expertise in Versionskontrollsystemen (Git).
• Senior‑level experience with frameworks such as Next.js, Laravel, Ruby on Rails or Phoenix.
• Previous experience with Ruby on Rails or willingness to quickly learn Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
• Experience with database design and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
• Fluent in German or English (spoken and written).
• Residence within the EU (we cannot sponsor work visas).

• Experience with the Shopify ecosystem and Shopify API.
• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Experience with Shopify's Liquid templating system.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with MVC / MVVM patterns.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance optimization and scaling of e‑commerce applications.
• Knowledge of web application security.
