Job Purposes
Support KBC’s R&D organization in the consistent execution of scaled agile delivery by maintaining and continuously improving agile ways of working, delivery visibility, and the supporting toolchain (primarily Atlassian Jira and Confluence). Partner with R&D team leads to enable reliable sprint/iteration mechanics, transparent flow of work, and clear cross-team coordination to support predictable delivery of releases and commitments.
Support internal efficiency acceleration through artificial intelligence by supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption across R&D and beyond. Identify, qualify, and prioritize high-value productivity use cases; enable end users through training, coaching, and support; and develop targeted no-code/low-code solutions (including Copilot Studio agents) that improve how teams plan, execute, communicate, and report work.
Key Activities
- Provide day-to-day support for Scrum/agile process maintenance: backlog hygiene, dependency tracking, impediment escalation, and coordination of cross-team work.
- Administer and improve Atlassian Jira and Confluence to support R&D delivery (projects, boards, workflows, issue configuration, permissions, dashboards, filters, automations, templates).
- Own Jira “run operations”: user onboarding/offboarding, access and role management, configuration requests intake, troubleshooting and triage, and vendor/support escalation when needed.
- Maintain release visibility artifacts (release views, delivery health metrics, flow/throughput reporting) and provide actionable insights to improve predictability, quality, and efficiency.
- Facilitate issue analysis, risk identification, and mitigation support; coordinate course-of-action discussions and help teams adjust plans when constraints, priorities, or dependencies change.
- Drive Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption and value realization: develop and deliver role-based training, office hours, guides, and “day-in-the-life” examples
- Support AI use case analysis and prioritization: gather requests, map to outcomes, define success metrics, and track adoption/impact; partner with stakeholders to remove blockers (data readiness, permissions, process changes).
- Build and maintain advanced AI solutions using Copilot Studio: design and publish agents, ground them in approved knowledge sources, validate outputs, monitor usage, and manage updates through a controlled lifecycle.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures for agile delivery practices, Jira/Confluence usage, and Copilot/agent enablement to support scalable self-service.
Responsibilities
- Solutions Analysis - Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
- Data Collection and Analysis - Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Documentation and Backup - Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.

- Operational Compliance - Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Personal Capability Building - Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
