SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, SALESFORCE
As a Salesforce System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing our Salesforce platform to enable efficient sales and business operations. You will be responsible for the configuration, customization, maintenance, and user support of Salesforce, ensuring that it aligns with Acera’s objectives and meets the needs of our users.

- Calgary, AB, Kelowna, BC, or Burnaby, BC
- Full-time, permanent
- Compensation: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual, team and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $70-000 - $90,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure Salesforce to support business processes and workflows, including custom fields, objects, validation rules, and workflow rules.
- Customize page layouts, reports, dashboards, and views to provide relevant information and insights to users.
- Implement and maintain automation tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Apex triggers to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for user support and troubleshooting related to Salesforce issues and enhancements.
- Provide training and guidance to users on Salesforce functionality, best practices, and new features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand user needs, translating them into actionable solutions within Salesforce.
- Oversee data quality and integrity within Salesforce, implementing data validation rules, duplicate management, and data cleansing initiatives.
- Manage data imports, exports, and updates using data loader tools and integration solutions.
- Work closely with other teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications (specifically Applied Epic), ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including user management, security configuration, and system updates.
- Coordinate with Salesforce support and vendors to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical problems, and implement upgrades as needed.
- Monitor system performance and usage metrics, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configuration, processes, and procedures.
- Enforce governance policies and security standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data protection laws.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of system configurations and user permissions to maintain data integrity and security.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Salesforce Administrator certification required
- Proven experience as a Salesforce System Administrator, with a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage with users at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in the Insurance industry would be an asset
