Field Technical Representative
Overview
The Field Technical Representative (FTR) is a field-based role for the Warranty / Technical Services team at Holcim Building Envelope division. The Holcim Building Envelope (HBE) division in Canada is based out of Mississauga, ON, and part of the larger Holcim Group. Technical Services is a vital and growing team; the FTR reports to the Technical Services and Training Manager for their respective area. The FTR is the face of the company who, among many things, will conduct in their day to day:
Performing technical inspections of commercial roofing applications for no-dollar-limit warranty coverage, performing warranty claim investigations, and providing on-site technical construction assistance to professional architects, designers, and installers.
This position covers the Quebec, Manitoba, and Maritimes Regions. The ideal candidate will preferably reside in the Montreal area and will service the region from this home-base. This is a fully remote position - candidates must live within the territory.

Qualifications
EDUCATION BASE REQUIREMENT (one required):
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Architecture; OR Minimum of 10 years’ construction experience in a Commercial Roofing Foreman or Superintendent role, or as a Technical Representative for a commercial roofing manufacturer.
Experience And Abilities
THE CANDIDATE MUST:
Candidate should be able to unload the ladder from their truck, set up, secure, and safely move the ladder, and resecure it back to the vehicle.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS THAT CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
