Military and Veterans, you have answered the call before, we need your help to do it again.
Capital Caring Health is seeking Prince William County Military and/or Veterans ambassadors to provide respite and companionship for Veteran patients and families in hospice care. Volunteers provide companionship, play cards, read books, run errands and provide respite for families. Veteran ambassadors assist with performing Veteran's Recognition Ceremonies and provide general camaraderie to Veterans in hospice care. Additionally, ambassadors can participate in the Library of Congress' Veterans History Project by recording their military history and submitting it to the National Archives.
