Production Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Summary

The Production Machine Operator will be responsible for operating production equipment and tooling in a manufacturing setting. In this role, you will be expected to follow production schedules, ensure quality control, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This posting is primarily for our PE plant located in Richmond Hill, GA. The starting base rate of pay will be $20.20 per hour. Upon being hired, team members who demonstrate advanced skills may qualify for a higher level of pay in the future.

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assemblies (BSAs) and Electric Powertrain (PE) Systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

The responsibilities of a Production Machine Operator include but are not limited to:

1. Operating various production equipment and tooling
2. Assembling products and parts in manufacturing processes
3. Performing validation testing
4. Meeting deadlines of individual production targets during shift
5. Creating progress reports, defect reports, and incident reports as necessary
6. Maintaining lineside stock levels
7. Keeping the worksite clean
8. Reviewing and following manufacturing manuals/processes
9. Following the company's safety and quality guidelines

Experience

1. Automotive manufacturing experience
2. Experience with SAP/MES
3. Automated production line experience
4. Good understanding of how production equipment works
5. Ability to detect potential problems with machinery
6. Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
