Tasks:

1. Determine the size of food portions and costs
2. Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
3. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
4. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
5. Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
6. Inspect kitchens and food service areas
7. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
8. Order supplies and equipment
9. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
10. Clean kitchen and work areas
11. Organize buffets and banquets
12. Manage kitchen operations
