Supply Chain – Summer Student

1 Full Time, Term Position (May-August)

Is This Role for You?

The Supply Chain student is accountable for handling and maintaining ongoing procurement activities in a proactive, timely, and effective manner. This includes processing purchase requisitions, reconciliations, processing change orders, managing the supply chain mailbox, setting up new vendors, collecting and inputting vendor data, and assisting the procurement team with various project requirements.

You Have:

• Successful candidate must be a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary program or registered to attend one in the fall. Transcript or proof of enrollment must be provided with submission of application.
• Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in a program related to business and/or supply chain management.
• Ability to work well within a team environment, have strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrated customer service skills required.
• Must have strong organizational and time management abilities including the ability to identify and adapt to changing priorities effectively and in a timely manner.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft 365 suite is required.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently.
• Adaptable and eager to learn new systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate airport security clearance and an acceptable criminal record check.

SALARY: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
