Job: Chemical Handling Tech

Location: Socorro, NM (onsite)

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Chemical Handling Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Handle/transport chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Work within a cross-functional team to achieve safe and on-schedule energetic material production.
• Work in a chemical process environment that includes constituent storage, material processing, and waste streams.
• Support process development and production operations.
• Perform cleaning operations on critical parts and assemblies per procedures.
• Detail oriented, with a commitment to performing work in a consistent and exacting manner.
• Maintain process records and contribute to improving procedures.
• Assist with all levels of inventory tracking.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Certificate or associate's degree in chemical technology or a related field like chemical process engineering.
• Laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with chemicals.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials.
• Computer literacy related to internal communication, documentation, and various workflows.
• Must be a US Person as defined by § 120.62 of the ITAR.
