Responsibilities:

1. Provide first level support on both network outages and network-related projects.
2. Accountable for daily network activities, such as those related to incident and change management, to ensure end-user requests are handled and addressed within defined SLAs.
3. Provide 24x7 L1 network operational support of existing network, capacity planning, conduct infrastructure audits, configure security policies/VPNs.
4. Provide troubleshooting support to maintain all network systems and monitor them proactively to ensure that production downtime is minimized and SLAs are achieved.
5. Conduct InfoSec activities and ID management of Voice devices on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to ensure that all devices are compliant with zero deviations per the InfoSec calendar.
6. Execute day-to-day network activities as part of Incident management and Change management processes to ensure end-user requests are handled and addressed within the defined SLAs.
7. Proactively evaluate new and emerging technologies and suggest ways to add value to the existing infrastructure.
8. Author and deliver network-related documentation.
9. Ensure an effective communication process is in place with all stakeholders including vendors, server, voice, and desktop support teams.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience in Networking (LAN/WAN & Security).
2. Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering required; Cisco Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet Certifications FCNSA, FCNSP, and ITIL preferred.
3. Demonstrable experience with Cisco Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Fortigate UTM, and implementation experience of these devices.
4. Deep knowledge with proven expertise of Cisco, Fortigate, Brocade networking products, Load balancers, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, UTMs, Wifi (Cisco/Fortinet/Aruba), maintaining and troubleshooting.
5. Expertise in networking concepts such as IPLCs, Leased Lines, MPLS, TI/T3/E1, VoIP, VPN tunnels, etc.
6. Proficient in configuring WAN links, VLANs, and protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, etc.
7. Solid background in network security compulsions from the desktop level to the network gateway and perimeter level.
8. Proven experience implementing and troubleshooting WAN protocols such as BGP, OSPF, RIP, etc., and security mechanisms such as IPSec/AES/3DES/SSL.
