Senior Application Engineer (SCADA)
Job summary
A leading automation solutions provider is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join their Engineering SCADA department in Dubai. The role involves developing User Requirement Specifications and designing SCADA systems. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Sciences, along with at least 4 years of experience with AVEVA System Platform. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as a detail-oriented work ethic.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- 4+ years of experience with AVEVA System Platform is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Develop User Requirement Specifications.
- Create detailed software and hardware design specifications.
- Design, write, implement test and document SCADA and HMI logic/scripts.
- Develop and execute SCADA system validation/testing protocols.
- Specify and procure relevant software and licenses.
- Assist with man-hour estimation for project execution.
- Install test and commission SCADA systems onsite.
- Deliver training to operators and engineers on SCADA systems.
