Job Title: Site Engineer

Your role will span a broad spectrum of responsibilities, ranging from pinpointing optimal infrastructure locations to meticulously overseeing site security, health, and safety protocols. Your adeptness in fostering seamless communication among contractors and stakeholders will be instrumental in ensuring effective collaboration throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and meticulously managing construction activities to ensure strict adherence to project specifications, local codes, and stringent safety regulations.
• Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to prevent delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards, safeguarding project timelines and budgets.
• Ensuring meticulous alignment of materials and workmanship with project specifications to uphold quality standards and client expectations.
• Analysing and interpreting complex plans, blueprints, topographical and geologic data, and technical drawings to strategize and execute construction activities efficiently.
• Monitoring project costs rigorously, identifying avenues for cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining unwavering adherence to budget constraints.
• Conducting thorough and regular site inspections to monitor progress meticulously and ensure steadfast compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborating seamlessly with local authorities to ensure full compliance with construction regulations and by-laws, fostering a harmonious working relationship.
• Working closely in tandem with project managers, architects, and contractors to orchestrate coordinated efforts towards achieving punctual project completion.
• Upholding meticulous project documentation practices and stringent quality control measures to ensure comprehensive project oversight and accountability.
• Resolving technical challenges and addressing other issues swiftly and effectively as they arise, demonstrating agility and resourcefulness in problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, coupled with a solid foundation of 4-5 years of UAE-based experience as a site engineer or civil engineer.
• Possession of state-issued certification or engineering license, demonstrating compliance with regulatory standards and professional competencies.
• Proficiency in utilizing a diverse array of engineering software, including Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, GIS, ETABS, or equivalent tools.
• Demonstrated competence in assessing, interpreting, and presenting survey reports and other critical data to stakeholders and shareholders with clarity and precision.
• Exceptional project management and leadership skills, coupled with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, adept at coordinating with multiple stakeholders and fostering synergistic partnerships.
• Impeccable attention to detail and an unwavering focus on delivering consistently high-quality results, setting the standard for excellence within the team.

Salary Range: 10K – 13K based on experience
