- Assess and diagnose cancer patients to determine appropriate radiation therapy protocols.
- Administer radiation treatments, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient-centered care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, processes, and potential side effects.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated on advancements in radiation oncology.
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- M.D. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution with specialized training in Radiation Oncology.
- Board certification in Radiation Oncology is preferred.
- Active medical license to practice in the Gulf region.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiation oncology or related field.
- Strong knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
