SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL FINANCE AND PROJECT FINANCE, UAE

At the top end, the drive of the UAE's economy continues to follow a well worn path - the ethos of spend, invest and diversify now, in order to anchor down profitable assets and income streams for the future.

Ensuring that government backed companies have robust in-house legal departments is a key part of this strategy, and we are instructed with assisting that growth.

This particular organisation is currently pushing the investment and growth strategy very hard.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be working with a strong finance team, playing your part in complex deals, allying with financiers, lenders, SWF's, JV partners and internal business units.

Who you'll likely need to be, in order to succeed:

1. Common law qualification (essential due to the nature of the documents and the work).
2. 7+ years of experience in transactional finance, with an emphasis onto project and asset.
3. Trained and qualified with an international standard law firm.
4. Middle East experience is ideal.
5. Experience in industrial sectors such as energy / projects or infrastructure is advantageous.
