It Support Engineer jobs in Spain

This position requires the post-holder to be part of a team and perform all tasks assigned to deliver top-class service to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing 1st and 2nd line IT technical support to resolve user and operational problems according to the agreed Service Level Agreements to enhance user satisfaction levels.
2. Supporting and maintaining PCs and peripherals.
3. Carrying out diagnostic troubleshooting by selecting and using appropriate technical references.
4. Ensuring rapid response to user technical and functional issues for a range of applications across multiple business lines and assets.
5. Maintaining a high level of customer service for all support queries.
6. Acting as the first line security response resource and executing emergency procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Electronics or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years post-diploma experience in installing and supporting Desktop environments and equipment in an enterprise environment (Oil and gas organization preferred).
3. 3+ years of experience in PCs, peripherals, and Application Support.
4. Industry certification in major IT products, e.g., A+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, etc.
5. Good communication skills (oral and written).
6. Proficient in the usage/application of standard diagnostic, test equipment, and software tools.
7. Able to communicate technical details and instructions in plain, non-technical language.
8. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
