What you'll be doing:

This role will be responsible for managing, evaluating, and overseeing all insurance-related processes within the company such as group medical, Property All Risk, Liability, motor fleet, marine and miscellaneous classes. This includes assessing risks, reviewing insurance policies, managing claims, and providing expertise to both internal teams and clients. The role requires a detailed understanding of insurance products, claims processes, regulations, and a strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

Job Description:

1. Handle the end-to-end insurance requirements of the entire group.
2. Review all the policies to ensure adequate cover is in place.
3. Complete risk analysis for all units with recommendations.
4. Handle yearly policy renewals which involves coordination with various departments to collect the values of stock, property, etc.
5. Claims management including maintenance of a claims tracker.
6. Mitigate any risks which are uninsured and ensure the group is fully insured to abide by the law.
7. Cost & Risk Analysis of the policies, prior to placement with detailed recommendations to the top management.
8. Monitor monthly renewals to ensure all policies are renewed in a timely manner.
9. Conduct quarterly risk analysis of all the sites, warehouses, outlets, offices to ensure all safety precautions are in place.
10. Reconcile the complete statement of accounts and cascade the same to various groups within the company.
11. Raise disputes with the insurers for any discrepancies in claims.
12. Conduct workshops for all employees to explain the benefits covered under their existing medical insurance plan.

Functional/Technical Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and insurance management software. Familiarity with CRM platforms is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and industry regulations. Familiarity with risk management practices.
• Ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and develop effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing policies, claims, and documentation.
• Qualification in Insurance - ACII or Diploma in CII.
