Job Description

1. Provides excellent guest service in both F&B functions and meeting events.
2. Sets up and tears down F&B functions as well as meeting events as required.
3. Helps maintain a clean and organized workplace.
4. Assists the Banquet Manager with preparing for and executing functions.
5. Leads a team of Servers for assigned functions.
6. Coordinates, organizes and helps to give proper assistance to servers.
7. Maximizes productivity and efficiency of service staff.
8. Ensures that all aspects of the dining room/banquet facilities are ready.
9. Assigns tasks and performs opening and closing duties.
10. Actively participates in the environmental program and department specific initiatives in working towards sustainable operations.
11. To be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment.
12. Complies with Sofitel policies, procedures and code of ethics.
13. Performs any and all other tasks, which are assigned by management.
14. Upholds the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all time.
15. Assists with other F&B functions and tasks as required.
16. Assists with other responsibilities and duties in the absence of a team member or other tasks assigned by the manager.
17. Follows all policies and procedures ascertained by the hotel.

Qualifications

1. Walking and standing are required during the working day.
2. Good command of English language and communication skills.
3. Must be computer and system literate.
4. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally.
