Are you a seasoned Commercial Insurance Adviser seeking the next big opportunity in your career?

Our esteemed client, a leading player in the Financial Services sector, is on the lookout for talented professionals to join their dynamic team. The Commercial Insurance Adviser will be responsible for providing underwriting assistance to the Advisors, focusing on personal and commercial lines business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Gather policy information.
  2. Compile a summary of information.
  3. Handle new applications and quotations.
  4. Handle and solve client enquiries (all existing business enquiries).
  5. Arrange appointments between the Insurance Adviser and clients.
  6. Manage administrative documentation (detailed records).
  7. Build and maintain good working relationships.
  8. Maintain service level agreement deadlines.
  9. Manage policy renewals.

Skills Required:

  1. Grade 12.
  2. Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  3. Successfully completed the RE 5 Examination (Representatives).
  4. NQF Level 4 Short Term Insurance qualification or studying toward it.
  5. A minimum of 2-3 years working experience within the insurance industry.
  6. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Good administration, organization, and planning skills.
  8. Good multi-tasking and time management skills.
  9. Highly reliable, adaptable, and resilient.
  10. Problem solving.
