Location: Remote (weekday), On-site (weekend)
Hours: 2 weekdays + 2 weekends = 32 hours

Position Overview

We are seeking a Community Associate to support our educational programs. This part-time role combines teaching, administrative duties, and family communication. You will update lesson materials, manage family communication, and teach weekend classes.

Responsibilities

Daily Tasks (4 hours/week):

1. Regular family follow-ups and answering queries (WhatsApp Business)
2. Maintaining attendance and managing activity records (Excel)

Weekly Tasks (4 hours/week):

1. Updating lesson slides (PowerPoint)
2. Managing volunteer registration and attendance (Giving.sg / Excel)
3. Updating CRM in HubSpot

Monthly Tasks (6 hours/month or ~2 hours/week):

1. Reviewing and updating curriculum slides (PowerPoint)
2. Designing and sending the monthly family schedule (Canva)
3. Administrative upkeep, including attendance tracking (Excel)

Weekend Tasks (16 hours/week):

1. Teaching classes and managing activities
2. Volunteer briefing
3. Overseeing student attendance and feedback collection
4. Centre opening, clean up and closing

Qualifications

1. WhatsApp Proficiency: Comfortable with WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business
2. Teaching Experience: At least 1 year of experience teaching children, with PowerPoint skills for lesson development
3. Excel Competence: Able to manage attendance sheets and basic program agendas
4. Organized & Communicative: Strong organizational skills and proactive communication during working hours
5. Suitable Workspace: Quiet, dedicated home office space
6. Commitment: Able to commit to 2 weekdays and 2 weekends per week (other arrangements can be discussed)
