About the role:
Ethan Interiors is seeking a passionate and talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic and functionality of our clients' spaces. This is a self-employed full-commission position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of exciting projects and collaborate with a passionate, creative group of professionals.

What you'll be doing?

• Collaborating with clients to understand their design goals and preferences
• Developing innovative, visually appealing design proposals that meet the client's needs
• Preparing detailed floor plans, AutoCAD elevations, and 3D Sketchups that bring your design ideas to life
• Sourcing and specifying furniture, fixtures, and materials that align with the project's style and budget
• Overseeing the installation process and end-to-end project management to ensure a seamless execution of the design
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and industry best practices

What we're looking for:

• A degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in a professional interior design role
• Strong technical skills in space planning, colour theory, and material selection
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to translate client's vision into reality
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset and a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces
