Position: Equipment and Facilities Engineer
Location: Singapore
Reporting to: Equipment Technology Manager (APAC)
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment maintenance: Prepare the preventive maintenance plan of equipment, ensure the implementation of the plan, and be responsible for the repair of equipment failures to restore normal use.
Equipment technical support: Provide professional technical support for the design, selection, procurement, installation and commissioning, acceptance, verification, technical transformation, scrapping and other processes of equipment and the formulation of equipment operation procedures.
Equipment management: Responsible for the preparation of equipment management and maintenance related processes, inspection of equipment usage, control of equipment maintenance plans and costs, control of spare parts, sorting out drawings and records, and support of equipment number and label management.
Facilities maintenance: Be responsible for updating and implementing the planned maintenance of plant facilities within the scope of responsibility.
Calibration: Be responsible for maintaining the master list of measuring instruments/plant facilities and the calibration plan.
Safety management: Be responsible for mitigating or eliminating potential safety hazards and risks in the process of equipment maintenance.
Cost control: Analysis and control the budgets and expenses related to equipment procurement, preventive maintenance, fault repair, spare parts procurement, energy saving, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant majors.
2-3 years of experience in medical and biological related fields.
Experience in repair and maintenance of equipment, plant and air conditioning systems.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Fluency in English and Mandarin is required as the role requires close collaboration with our team in China.
Proficient in MS Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
Team player with can do attitude, able to work with challenges and open to take on additional roles/ rotation.
