Responsibilities:
Lead CNC machining operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and precision.
Oversee robotic automation and cobot systems in production.
Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
Develop and work with internal teams to optimize machining processes to improve quality and reduce cycle times.
Support CNC continuous programming improvement and reduction of machining cycle time.
Troubleshoot machine and automation issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Train and mentor CNC machinists and operators.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control regulations.
Support in production to ensure manufacturing orders are meeting CNC machining process work instructions.
Lay out work, set up, and operate CNC lathes to perform machining operations according to manufacturing orders and drawing required tolerances and specifications.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Background working with automated production lines.
Experience in CNC turning, milling, and robotic automation.
Experience in CNC programming and integrating cobots and robotic automation in manufacturing.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T standards.
Experience with Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing technologies.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX, or SolidWorks).
