EHS & LOSS PREVENTION MANAGER
We are looking for a highly motivated security professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork driven, and project management skills to lead our Security Prevention Practices in Sephora Mexico.
This role will play a key part in the practice of loss prevention in stores and DC, as well as serve as a team leader overseeing the delivery of executive protection services, embedded consulting services, and training.
Responsibilities:
- Identify improvements, track, and report on key performance metrics to enhance performance based on business strategy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls according to CEDIS requirements.
- Follow up on investigations of suspected theft and internal fraud; conduct interviews when appropriate.
- Identify, promote, and implement security best practices.
- Partner effectively with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, processes, and initiatives.
- Coordinate data collection and analysis, generating strategic and tactical interpretations.
- Drive compliance with all corporate loss prevention program standards.
- Serve as a member of a coordinated Loss Prevention team, pursuing improvements to company-wide loss prevention efforts.
- Perform interior and exterior Loss Prevention audits of all country stores and respond to security or Loss Prevention issues noted.
- Encourage and promote Loss Prevention within the workforce, exercising integrity and ethical methods.
- Support the development and deployment of cost-effective security systems and solutions to mitigate risks.
- Establish and utilize risk assessment processes to identify and prioritize risks and mitigation strategies.
- Reflect positively on the Sephora/Loss Prevention department through public relations and customer service; set a personal example of the highest level.
- Demonstrate knowledge of loss prevention best practices in retail stores, supply chain, distribution, and delivery centers, including physical security systems, investigation techniques, and management of contract guard agencies.
- Supervise day-to-day executive protection engagements.
- Oversee the loss prevention executive security program.
- Manage civil protection in the corporate office.
Experience:
- Experience in executive protection strategy.
- Solid experience in executing and strategizing Loss Prevention activities for physical sites (fabric, warehouse, retail store, etc.).
- Solid experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, and video review systems.
- Solid experience in security services, asset protection, auditing, risk management, and inventory control.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- 5 years of experience managing security and loss prevention in supply chain, industrial, logistics, and transportation environments.
- CPP, PSP, TAPA training is a plus.
- Interviewing and interrogation experience is desired; Wicklander and Zulawski certification is a plus.
