We're Hiring: Skilled Welders - Ripley, DE5 3ND

My client based in Ripley, Derbyshire are looking for fully skilled, time-served Welders to join our fabrication team, supporting the UK Defence industry. If you're an experienced welder with a strong attention to detail and a passion for high-integrity fabrication, we want to hear from you!

1. Welding complex, high-integrity fabrications in carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel, duplex, and exotic alloys
2. Working to BS EN ISO 3834 quality standards
3. Performing NDT-tested welds, including visual and radiographic inspections
4. Following detailed engineering drawings and weld symbols
5. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
6. Accurately logging working hours and completing all documentation
7. Identifying and suggesting process improvements

1. Apprenticeship trained, NVQ Level 3 or higher
2. Minimum 3 years of welding experience
3. Proficient in MIG, MMA & TIG welding
4. Experience working with a variety of materials
5. Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Day Shift Only:

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 12:30
39 hours per week minimum

Pay: From £16.80 per hour
Overtime available (+50%), including weekends
