MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious, bespoke engineering client, based in the heart of Northumberland. The company are industry leaders in their sector, and due to growth, are seeking to recruit a full time and permanent TIG Welder. Apply now for an immediate response!

The job you will do:

  1. You will be working as part of a production team performing manufacturing functions of welding and assembly in accordance with the relevant standards and any other standards which may apply to these functions.
  2. Typically, the welding of various engineered products fabricated with thin gauge aluminium alloys.
  3. This will include complex fillet welds and tube welding.
  4. Working to rigid quality standards, producing high quality welded components.

About you:

  1. Extensive experience of TIG welding on aluminium alloys is essential.
  2. Ideally you will be a time served or coded welder.
  3. You will ideally come from a fabrication or engineering background.
  4. You must have a strong ability to read engineering drawings.
  5. Applicants will be required to undertake a weld test, with successful candidate undertaking the relevant coding qualification.
