This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to join Barchester Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the UK. You will have full autonomy over menu development, creating nutritious and delicious menus that cater to the needs and preferences of the residents.

As a Bank Head Chef at Barchester, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team to deliver high-quality, person-centered hospitality. You will have the freedom to tailor menus around the residents, ensuring they receive appetizing and nutritious meals. You will work with fresh, seasonal produce to create wholesome dishes that meet the highest standards. Additionally, you will manage stock control, complete regular audits, and contribute to the overall warm and welcoming environment within the home.

NEED TO HAVE

• A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents
• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
• Experience in leading, motivating and inspiring a team
• A good understanding of nutrition
• Experience of working with fresh seasonal food
• The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within our home
• Confidence engaging with residents to create appetising and nutritious menus
• Good understanding of HACCP
