Due to my client's steady growth, they are now recruiting for Mechanical Engineers of all levels.

My client is an established, mid-size Building Services Consultancy based in Brentwood, working mainly with clients in the South East and London.

To ensure engineers are offered a varied project workload, their typical project types include Education, Commercial, Retail, Residential, Leisure, and Healthcare.

The company's current need is for Mechanical Design Engineers who have previously worked within a building services consultancy environment or a design environment within contractors, and who have a varied project portfolio experience.

The successful candidate will have experience in undertaking mechanical design, producing 2D CAD drawings (experience with Revit and BIM would be advantageous), compiling reports, managing information streams, working with suppliers and contractors, as well as attending client and contractor meetings.

Experience with calculation software such as Hevacomp, TAS, IES, and CYMAP is essential.

They are looking for an engineer with the following skill sets:

1. Completed a minimum of an HND qualification in a relevant subject;
2. Minimum of 1 year experience in Building Services Consultancy (ideal);
3. Good experience of mechanical detail design and D&B;
4. Competent user of design software;
5. Competent user of AutoCAD/Revit.
