Trade Operations Analyst - London

Miller Maxwell is working with a global equities trading facility seeking to hire a Trade Operations Analyst for a client-facing team for their London office. The Trade Operations Analyst will support a sophisticated, leading-edge trading platform used by front-office traders within Europe. The Trade Operations Analyst will gain experience of exchange connectivity, market data feed support and low-latency trading. Fantastic opportunity for a Trade Operations Analyst to work with front-office traders and gain equities asset class experience whilst supporting an interesting technology stack.

The Trade Operations Analyst will:

1. Provide clients with advice on the trading product suite.
2. Provide technical and trading support to clients internally and externally.
3. Be the first point of contact for issues relating to trading, messaging, and business-related issues.
4. Engage in extensive interaction with front-office users.
5. Support electronic trading infrastructure and products, front-end software, FIX protocol, and networking.
6. Resolve exchange queries and real-time trading issues.
7. Test and execute production changes.

The Trade Operations Analyst will need:

1. A degree in a related subject – Computing, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics.
2. Experience working for a Brokerage, Exchange, hedge fund, or investment bank.
3. Strong understanding of trading – Equities, Derivatives, or FX experience.
4. Experience with Linux and FIX Protocol – desirable.
