German Teacher – Outstanding School – Surrey

An Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Surrey seeks a dedicated and fluent German Teacher to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). The school is committed to inspiring a love of languages and fostering cultural understanding.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in German.
2. Explore German culture, history, and contemporary society, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
3. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the MFL curriculum.

Requirements:

1. Qualified German Teacher (QTS) with a relevant degree and fluency in German (native or near-native level).
2. Proven experience teaching German at the secondary level.
3. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
4. A passion for German language and culture.
