Job Description:

Busy family in London SW5 are looking for a kind, fun and reliable nanny to help mum care for their 3 young children. This is a predominantly shared care role where you will work together with mum.

There are 2 children aged 6 & 4 (both attend school) and a baby girl (born January 2025).

The family is part German, so we would like a completely fluent German speaker, but would also consider a Mandarin speaker, otherwise a completely fluent English speaker.

The nanny should preferably have experience with newborns as well as older children.

Being helpful with tidying and light meal prep would be good - we do have a housekeeper who comes every afternoon.

If the nanny would ever like to stay overnight, we have a spare room and bathroom.

This is a full-time live-out job, Monday to Friday - 40 hours, and we could offer more hours (e.g., weekends, babysitting, etc.). We can also offer fewer hours - 25, 30, or 35 hours if that is the nanny's preference. The core hours where we need the most help are over the afternoons (2:30 PM to 7:30 PM ish).

Requirements:

Fluent German speaker (otherwise fluent Mandarin or fluent English)
Experienced nanny
Up to date Enhanced DBS (on the DBS update service)
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in the UK and have proof
Live in London
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
