Overview
Compass Associates is excited to be collaborating alongside a renowned Children's Care and Specialist Education provider. They have a portfolio of Residential Services and Specialist Schools for children and young people with complex needs such as Learning Disabilities and Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, or have experienced trauma and CSE. Currently, they are experiencing sustained growth and are opening new homes across central England.
Together, we are looking for a Clinical, Forensic, Counselling or Educational Psychologist with a passion for working with adolescents. You will be providing direct clinical work, assessment, supervision and training while collaborating with a friendly therapeutic team composed of Psychologists, Counsellors, Clinical Trainers, PBS Practitioners and Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Psychologists with a common goal to make a difference in these children's lives; all while receiving able support from their Clinical Services Manager and Clinical Director.
Work Pattern
Mon to Fri, 9 to 5pm - there are occasional weekends, but the time will be given back during the week in lieu.
Location
This brand-new children's home is set in a beautiful country estate in Bedford, and is commutable from Daventry, Rugby, Corby, Kettering, Peterborough, St. Ives, St. Neots, Cambridge, Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton and other surrounding towns and villages.
Criteria
- HCPC Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, Educational OR Forensic)
- Experience of working within any Children's setting; for example, within Education, Residential or CAMHS
Interview Process
This will be a two-stage process, with the 1st stage informal meeting with the Head of Clinical Services, followed by a face-to-face 2nd stage with the same individual and a Clinical Services Manager.
Salary and Benefits
The Psychologist role is paying up to £55,000 per annum with the exciting opportunity to begin your Expert Witness Training.
