We are seeking a passionate and dedicated General Science Teacher to join a team at a prestigious school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons across secondary levels, fostering curiosity and a love for scientific inquiry among students. This role is for September 2025.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons in line with the curriculum.
2. Teach a range of science subjects, including biology, chemistry, and physics.
3. Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
4. Use practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance student understanding.
5. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
6. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific investigation.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching resources and strategies.
8. Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents/guardians.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

1. A degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
2. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
3. Experience teaching science at secondary level.
4. Strong communication and classroom management skills.
5. A passion for science and student development.
