Production Chemist

Location: Greater Sheffield, UK
Work Schedule: Shift Work (rotating 8-hour shift pattern starting midnight, 4am, 5am starts)
Eligibility: Must have full right to work in the UK on a Permanent basis.

About the Role: As a Production Chemist in a GMP-certified facility, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. Your expertise will ensure that operations meet the rigorous standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

What You'll Do:

  1. Operate and maintain production equipment according to GMP guidelines.
  2. Monitor production processes and perform quality checks to ensure compliance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency.
  4. Document and report on production activities and outcomes.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.

Qualifications:
  1. Degree in a life science subject (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology).
  2. Any amount of previous work experience in an ISO regulated or GMP/GLP environment (This could be 1 month - 2 years).
  3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  5. Flexibility to work night shifts.
  6. Driving license/own vehicle highly preferred due to shift times.
