A Tier 1 building contractor is recruiting a Senior Bid Manager / Bid Manager to join their growing East Midlands division. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Bid Manager / Bid Manager to join an award-winning contractor with a track record delivering projects across education, healthcare, MoJ and MoD frameworks.

The Senior Bid Manager / Bid Manager will take a lead role managing projects from the PQQ stage through to commencement on site.

The company has a great reputation delivering works across the public sector and developed an excellent network of repeat clients, boasting an extensive project portfolio of award-winning projects ranging from £10m - £50m. They have forecast continued growth and are seeking a Senior Bid Manager / Bid Manager to join them as they enter the next stage of their journey. 1. Experience in a similar role with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
2. Experience developing and executing a winning bid strategy
3. Experienced in bid writing and editing
4. Excellent communication skills

1. Lead the pre-construction team in the East Midlands
2. Work closely with the estimating team to ensure bids are submitted on time
3. Liaise with the design team during the pre-construction stage
4. Lead on tenders with the client and project teams
5. Manage the tender bid settlement process
6. Report to the Pre-Construction Director

3. Reputation for delivering award-winning projects
4. Recently awarded 'Contractor of the Year'

1. Basic Salary of £70,000 - £80,000 (Negotiable DOE)

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Senior Bid Manager / Bid Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction main contractor.
