Yolk Recruitment is supporting a local established and respected manufacturing business in the Bridgend area in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent days-based shift.

As Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Supporting improvement projects to enhance machine performance and reliability
  • Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime

The experience you'll bring to the team:

  • Experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
  • Competence in mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent)
